I’m looking for a homeschool group to join for field trips. I would like something connected to First Baptist of Norfolk or in the Chesapeake/Greenbrier/Indian River area. If anyone can share how to connect that would be great. Thanks to any help.

Hi Shannon, Try searching for Kelly’s homeschool group on Yahoo Groups, or Pre-K through 2nd grade Homeschool parents on Meetup.com (if your kids fit into that age group). I don’t know of any other homeschool groups for field trips. I wish there were more groups like that! :)

I am new to homeschooling and am trying to arrange testing for my daughter. Does anyone know where I can get testing? I have applied to become a testing administrator through Bob Jones just in case, but I would rather not administer the test myself.

Sidra,
This will be my 3rd year homeschooling and we have just moved to Virginia. In NC we have a great guy who actually comes to us and does the testing. His name is Dana Forbes. He administers the Woodcock-Johnson III Tests of Achievement.
If you are interested in his contact info please email me.
