WOW!!  WOW!!! WOW!!!  This is a GREAT week to shop at Farm Fresh even though the ad was only 6 pages long.  The last page has a General Mills Promo and it means lots of FREE or super cheap stuff!  I won’t be able to shop today, and it makes me sad.  You know what some of my readers think?  If I don’t go on Wednesdays, that means we might have Double Dollars starting Sunday.  I sure hope so.  THERE IS NOTHING to CONFIRM THAT!  I’m just hoping!  Get your Farm Fresh Match Ups

Happy Savings!

Most of the printable coupons for the GM Promo are DND. I'd be curious if anyone has any luck with them doubling if they go!

It really depends on the store. The store in Poquoson will never double the DND. They will go out of there way to void the double, if it goes through. Other store in the Hampton Roads area have no problem. I would suggest trying just a few of the small valued DND's, just incase they don't double, until you get a good feel for your stores.

Hmm, I go to the Poquoson one! Thanks Lisa!

I go to the two off of General Booth Blvd. Does anyone have experience with those? Do they double DNDs?

Just got back from FF, I go to the one on South Indeoendence, they doubled. I am so excited. This is my first time coupon-ing and I got $58 worth of stuff for $13. I could get used to this.

Does anyone have experience with the FF on Little Creek Rd in Norfolk about doubling coupons? Thank you so much!

I am so dumb today.I used coupons and saved some..but got home and noticed I had like $12 worth of coupons in my pocket that was not used. I so have to get a better system than just stuffing them in my pocket

It depends on store and cashier. The store I go to doubles the DND5, but there are certain cashiers who aren't coupon friendly in general. I avoid them because they just aren't patient. For the most part, I've had no problems with the store on Military in Norfolk.

I shop at Hampton Town Centre location on Big Bethel in Hampton. The cashiers are awesome there- as long as it has a five the coupons double. They also never say anything after I walk back into the store after loading my trunk with freebies and cheapies and go for a second round. One even applauded me for my .34 cents order this morning. (I only payed tax). Other locations in Hampton and Newport News have also been good.

I'm with Lori – I have yet to have any problems with the store on military…. I'm also with annonymous – the one in the kemps river (indian river road) shopping center will not double the DND coupons, AND they are EXTREMELY rude about it too. It's not only up to the store manager, but also up to the cashiers too, some will just scan them without looking, some will decipher every coupon letter to letter, and some will make it more work for themselves just to not double. Definately a YMMV situation. For now I'm holding out hope that the store on military keeps up the awesome job! Now here's to hoping that my store doesnt get bombarded next wednesday before I get there! LOL

Thanks..

the one on Little Creek road, Stay away from, my hubby had problems over the DNDs. Manager is rude too. I did a few orders today in Suffolk (only spent .60 on three orders, I did stay under the 20 coupon rule on all three) and had NO problems with the DND's. AWESOME cashiers and store.

I shop at Little Creek all the time and have never had problems with DNDs. Today I did a bunch of the Pillsbury printables and they all went through.

Baxter road at Princess Anne is wonderful about doubles as well as the Military highway store. I do 2 trips in each Wednesday.

just got back from the kempsriver location. the BEST cashier there whispered to me that corporate chewed out the managerial staff about taking the dnd5's so NO MORE at that location. in fact, the computer WILL double it, so the cashiers now have to ring up 1/2 the value of the coupon and double it to equal the full amount ($1 won't double, so they have to type in 50c and double it to equal the original $1). i'll be hitting the teeter more often now.

I went to MLT HWY and Little Creek today. No problem with doubling my coupons at either store. I had an instance where I was told FF is not doing the $.05 discount but it turns out it was the cashier. I am still getting the five cents off with my cloth bags. Also I got Xtra laundry detergent for $.50!! It was 2 for $5.00 I had an $1.00 Qpon that I just happen to find!!

I shop at the Hampton FF on Coliseum and haven't had problems with doubling. I just did the Betty crocker deal and everything doubled just fine. Nice to know about the Poquoson store because that is where I usually go. Thanks for the tip!

Just quick note…the Tyson breaded frozen chicken is on sale for 4,99 and there is a coupon out there for $1 off (which would double today) making it 2.99. But to make it even better I got a cat for $2 off my next purchase for buying 2 bags! 4 bucks for 2 bags of chicken nuggets isn't too bad I think!

what is a “cat” and what do you have to do to get one?

Reply

The Coupon Consultant April 29, 2011 at 8:07 am

A “cat” is a catalina. That is the name for the extra coupons that print on a different kind of register tape at the end of a transaction. You receive them by buying certain products (which are usually stated in the ads). At times they are coupons for money off a specific item, other times they are for money off of your entire purchase. Hope that helps.

The FF on Battlefield had 4 baskets of clearance shampoo, razors, shaving cream, cream, etc…I was so exctied! My hubby was with me & we got lots of free stuff! Didn't try the DND because last week I saw that cashiers pulling them first.

Thanks for the heads up on the DND5s. I went to the Military Highway FF this week (by my work) rather than the usual Indian River location (by my home)and did not have any problems. I hope they don't decide to change too! I was able to do the Betty Crocker/Gnl Mills deal and get lots of free food!

I haven't had a cashier override the DND coupon yet. Once they start doing that at my (Mt. Pleasant & Centerville) store, I'll probably stop going there.

I went in with a fairly short list; all of my Qs doubled. Since the catalina wasn't programmed right or there was a paper problem, they were just refunding the $$. Same thing happened last year for the same promo. Hmmm…

I got paid to shop this time, the GM refund exceeded my after Q price. Love trips like that!

THe FF at Haygood/Independence, almost always will double any coupon. I was prepared though, and had back up coupons–maybe not same amount, but when doubled were more than $1. I've even bought the item then turned right around and returned it if they wouldn't take the coupon.
