Unfortunately, FF discontinued the double gas rewards on fridays a few weeks ago. Also, they are cutting back on the stores that are issuing the gas receipts, down to only the stores that have gas pumps and a few select others. Ask before you shop if you really want your gas receipts!

Here is a link to the stores with gas pumps and the ones still issuing the vouchers.

What does it mean "limit two like items per transaction"?

Does it mean I can only buy two tomatoe sauces at 2$5 and only use two coupons?

Thanks

They will only double 2 of the same coupons per transaction. You can use more, but they will just not double them. A few weeks ago I used 5 of the same coupons in one transaction, however if the coupons are different amounts for the same item it should be able to be doubled.

What it usually means is that two like coupons per transaction. That means you can only use two of the same coupon in one transaction. If you have more, just break them up into multiple transactions.

When I have come across this in the past, I am sure to vary the items I purchase using like coupons, especially if I am doing a deal that requires all purchases be made on the same receipt. For example, you can use the $2 off of any Chinet product more than twice if you get two plates, two cups, two napkins. The computer will beep after the first two coupons are scanned in, but the cashier can manually override it, since you are still within the 'two like items' rule. I have done this a number of times using the Rubbermaid coupons, Kelloggs cereal coupons, Kraft Cheeses coupons, and some others. I have never had an issue with the cashier not manually doubling the coupons (she just runs them thru the scanner twice), all I have to do is ask. You do have to watch carefully as they ring up, and just politely mention that the coupons should double since the items are not identical. I always carry a copy of their ad with me, in case I am challenged, but it hasn't ever happened. Other than that, I just do multiple transactions, altho not more than two at a time, unless I bring someone along to help. If there is a REALLY good coupon that is about to expire and I have multiples of it, I have been known to run back into the store after loading my groceries in the car, just to get a few more of that one item, lol.
PS – I noticed on the online ad that they have taken off the 'coupons that say do not double' clause.

Anonymous,
I have not heard anything about the Franklin store closing. I even looked at some of the coupon forums, and nothing I can see mentions that. Best thing to do is to call corporate headquarters or talk to your manager. So sorry, and I a would be SUUUUUPER sad if my Farm Fresh store was closing down! Hope it's not true!
